Scott Pilgrim Takes Off

S1 E1 · Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life I haven't read the manga(?) and I'm not the biggest fan of Edgar Wright's film adaptation, however, I was really excited about this series. From what I've seen, Wright's style lends well to animation, and the charming style of comics intrigued me. Overall, I wasn't disappointed. The first episode felt like a re-tread of the film, which is fine, but it took what I thought awkward and retold it in a satisfying, enjoyable way that fits more with the previously introduced ideas. The entire cast returning was also a huge pro. Pretty awesome show.
