"If there's any kind of magic in this world... it must be in the attempt of understanding someone, sharing something. I know it's almost impossible to succeed... but who cares, really? The answer must be in the attempt." — Céline, Before Sunrise

John Doe might actually be the greatest villain I’ve ever seen. The end to this movie is also just absurdly good I saw it coming but either way it was incredible writing. "Apathy is the solution... It's easier to lose yourself in drugs than it is to cope with life." "Ernest Hemingway once wrote, 'The world is a fine place and worth fighting for.' I agree with the second part." "Wanting people to listen, you can't just tap them on the shoulder anymore. You hit them with a sledgehammer..."

One of the most disturbing movies I’ve seen. Brutally realistic “I wished with all my heart that we could just leave this world behind, rise like two angels in the night and magically disappear.”

Good movie, interesting concept. Being honest it was kinda hard to understand but I got it in the end. The visuals are insane especially for this time I loved it. Probably the best score I’ve heard in a movie too.

This movie might have changed my mind about horror. “Just because you chose this for her doesn’t make it less real”. “You wished for this”.
