Prisoners

Honestly, an unbelievable film. I absolutely loved the performances, especially from Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal, who are both incredible throughout. The intensity never really lets up, and the film does such a brilliant job of pulling you into the situation and making you feel the same fear, frustration, and desperation as the characters. The atmosphere is dark, tense, and uncomfortable in the best possible way, and there are moments where you genuinely feel like you’re right there with them trying to figure everything out. The acting, direction, and suspense all work so well together, and the film keeps you completely invested from start to finish. Such a gripping and powerful movie.
