Inception
It’s no secret that Inception is one of Nolan’s more ambitious films with a plot that might catch some off guard with its complex layered narrative. This film has grown on me so much since I first watched it and upon rewatch I have definitely gained a much different appreciation for it.
This film is absolutely genius in the way that everything folds into place, I can’t stress enough how much I enjoy this screenplay it’s so creative and confusing, but once you understand what is going on, you will be amazed.
You don’t get much better then Hans Zimmer in this industry because I truly believe he is a gift from god, along with the Dark Knight Trilogy he delivers another masterful score which takes this film to a whole new level of great.
Rewatching some of Nolan’s work has got to be one of the best things a Film Bro can do, going to see Oppenheimer in a couple of weeks and I’m so happy that we’re going to get to see Cillian Murphy starring in his first ever Nolan film because he is always bringing such brilliant performances to these films.
Alongside Murphy you have a stacked cast that all give it their absolute all, most notably, Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Elliot Page who all string this film together with pure emotion.
The visual effects and world building are honestly astounding in this film and there’s so much depth into it that it’s hard to keep up with everything upon first watch. The fight choreography was also some of the best I’ve seen I love the iconic hotel lobby scene it’s just such perfection.
Do yourself a huge favour and watch this film, then rewatch it, and then rewatch it again.
