Babylon
If la la land and singin in the rain had a baby and gave it crack I think it would come out something like this.
Babylon catches your attention from the get go, grabs you and takes you on one omnishambles of a journey. It’s just batsh*t crazy from start to finish. It’s messy, it’s got problems like being longer than needed, controversial ending and a weak third part but overall it’s still a hell of a ride.
I would say the ending came across as one that wasn’t even decided when the film started filming. Definitely felt this was maybe the most disappointing part of the film.
Despite that Babylon was thoroughly entertaining even if it maybe didn’t need to be 3 hours. Acting was superb, fun score and as a whole a good story.
