Fargo

Genuinely one of the biggest suprises ever, I was not expecting a masterclass of filmmaking from every department. Performances in this are fantastic, Steve Buscemi delivers a really terrifying and funny performance that gives this film so much charm, pair that with Frances McDormand's extremely intelligent role of Margie and you have one of the most engaging films I’ve watched. There are other really well delivered performances that fit the tone and add so much to his movie. Its just so well crafted and perfect in pretty much every way.  This is also one of my favorite screenplays, the dialogue is so fantastic because the humor gives this film a heart and quality to it that makes this rewatchable. The writing of the narrative is so smooth and well paced, and that just ties perfectly together with the setting of Minnesota.  10/10 MASTERPIECE, ABSOLUTE CINEMA ✋😐🤚
