Parasite

I totally understand the hype behind this film and why its the most popular on letterboxd. Masterpiece in all forms of filmmaking. I was completely blown away by Bong Joon-Ho’s ability to switch genres so fluidly. I loved the grounded aspect of the first half and how it felt like a realistic crime thriller that built suspense to the level Hitchcock does. When you pair that with the unsettling realistic horror of the second half you get what is one of the most quality films ever put to screen.
