Michael
Okay, this was perfect. For starters, let me just say that I’m a huge fan of music biopics like this. Straight outta Compton for example. From start to finish, I was hooked. The film starts in 1966, and finished in 1989, with a sequel coming. Even though the film hasn’t spoken about his full life, I was still hooked like a fool. All the Michael Jackson songs featured were just perfect, and watching it in the cinema was 100% better than just watching it at home. Seeing thriller on the big screen was actually perfect, and I loved how perfectly they recreated it. Jaafar Jackson did a wonderful job at being his uncle. I think he deserves an award just for doing it, and keep in mind, this was his FIRST film. Honestly, I think this film deserves to be nominated for some sort of award, and it does deserve an award. Soundtrack wise, it was perfect. I mean, a music biopic has to have its soundtrack PERFECT. Never in my life, did I know that Michael actually owned a pet monkey. The monkey was unexpected, but it was nice to see. Michael’s dad was an opp the entire film, and I’d like to see what happens to him in the sequel. All in all, I loved this film, and I’ll be really Suprised if I don’t rewatch it. I WILL be there for the sequel.
