Stalker

I am legit floored by how ineffable this film has made me feel, the awe-striking visuals are just out of this world I can’t believe this was made in 1979. It’s extremely difficult to put into words how this movie made me feel because of how truely objective the themes can be perceived by each and any other individual who watches this, I think everyone who watches this will have a complete different perspective and experience with this and it will evoke entirely different meanings and philosophical standpoints depending on someone’s perception on life. With the whole runtime being 160 mins composed with only 142 shots, not a single frame is wasted and every single beautiful composition serves its purpose.   To truly describe/review this film will always be falling short in some way and an understatement because it will always be of some form of disservice to the genius mind of Tarkovsy and what he was trying to convey.
