“What’s he doing?” “He’s flying.” Watched this film 2 days back, so, so, so good. The dynamic of grizzled vet and cocky rookie will never get boring. Sonny Hayes just the perfect example of an adrenaline junkie obsessed with glory, trying to capture that flow state feeling. Pearce’s arc was predictable, but nonetheless enjoyable, I lowkey disliked his manager heavily. I’ve never watched an F1 race in my life, but this might just make me a fan. 4/5.
