Lady Bird

the second you relate this to you and your own mother even by the slightest you will burst into tears !!  i am crying so hard, lady bird i love you, this movie is so special and beautiful  i completely understand the perspective of not appreciating your home town and then beginning to love it, the end scene actually fucked me up with the parallels of her mum like you’ve got me FUCKED up i’m so divided because on one hand girl lady bird stop acting like this why are we ditching our best friend to be friends with the cool girl :( and her mum is such a bitch  and on the other hand i’m like :( i feel so bad for lady bird she doesn’t deserve to be treated like this she’s just a girl and her mum loves her and just can’t express it :( :(  when her mum drove back to the airport and missed her i sobbed, i sobbed so hard my nose is blocked that’s how much i’ve been crying i think the saddest i felt was when lady bird left, i wish i knew if she came back i like to imagine she did OR when danny was crying to her about being gay behind her work, that fucked me up too everyone needs a dad like lady birds dad, wish my dad loved me as much as hers 😭 this family dynamic is actually so sweet i love how they let miguel’s gf move in and treat her like a part of the family
