Maria

what do y’all know about maria callas a beautiful woman, a beautiful voice and a beautiful movie. the videos at the end of this brought me to tears, thankyou to angelina jolie for portraying maria so incredibly well - she literally sung for this role and even though it’s mainly maria’s vocals over it, the scenes where she’s singing are real and that could not have been easy i truly didn’t know maria’s story until i watched this, i didn’t know she died so young, when i listen to my cd of her i will forever think of this movie  an absolute diva though, the story is so sad “to be a possession in a cabinet is not my ambition” again angelina jolie was actually great for this role i didn’t have the highest hopes but she played maria to her fullest extent, the way she portrayed her character, absolutely amazing goodbye die hard in my top 4, la callas is here would recommend this to anyone ! though if you don’t like opera it’s probably not for you, visually amazing as well
