One Day
a roller coaster actually
from the slow burn to the sadness i was not able to keep my peace for more then one episode
the end of this reminds me of a quote from
a book i read,
“his life was black and white, and she was the only colour he ever had”something like that, and when i relate it back to this show it makes it so much more sadder. because it’s true. and i feel like they show they in this via colour and emotion etc
i feel like there were times were they were trying to hard to make it work that it was driving them apart and trying to keep their friend ship going when they clearly had nothing in common had a really big toll on the both of them but it’s clear that they were a right person wrong time type of thing
i alsoooo hated how they never liked each other at the same time like it always just missed the time line idk i was really upset over the slow burn AND
THEY DIDNT HAVE TO GO AND KILL MY GIRL DAMN JUST WHEN HE WAS FINALLY HAPPY AND SOBER AND HIS LIFE WAS TURNING AROUND THEY KILL THE ONLY PERSON HE WAS LIVING FOR?
like yes this boy was fed the silver spoon but his life has not been easy i hate sad men (this guy and paul mescal in normal people) like they will ruin my life
the ending was probably the only time i cried, i really thought he was going to kill himself once everyone left but i’m glad he didn’t and i’m glad he can look back at their time and be peaceful with it, i liked the conversation he had with her at the end as well where she said something about time and how one day it won’t be like this anymore and i think that’s really stuck with me because it’s true things heal with time
i really liked this story overall and i really want to read the book now,, didnt cry as much as i thought i was going to but still beautiful story beautiful people and a really beautiful composition
