Dune: Part Two
Everything you learn about the lore of this world is from characters who have conflicting interpretations of it.
You don't know what the profecy says exactly. You don't know the profecy's exact origin.
You don't know what Kwisatz Haderach should be capable of, or how to become one, or who can become one, or even why so much effort has been put into bringing them about.
Information for the audience is scarce, dialogs are limited, the Bene Gesserit keep pivoting and there are no sides. Things just happen and leave you none the wiser as to why or how.
And yet... it works. Maybe for a lesser filmmaker, or a lesser story, or a lesser cast these would be major flaws, but not for Dune. This movie is so audacious. Monumental. The sheer scale of it. The dunes. The worms. The thumps and thunks of falling corpses. The reverend mothers. The sadistic psychos. The duels. The twitch of the eyelid. All of it.
This movie is so great nothing can stand in its way
