i watched this because i wanted a good cry. yeah it was sad, but i think i went in with expectations that were too high, because it didn’t hit me as hard emotionally as i was led to believe

i think i need to give this another chance at a different time. i was already feeling overwhelmed going into it and it ended up making me feel even more overstimulated than engaged. honestly i would've rated it lower because i lowkey couldn't wait for it to end, but i could tell it's a really good movie, just a bad time to watch it. probably best watched with a clear head
