Secret Invasion

started off really strong. The show had real stakes, great performances, and surprisingly mature themes throughout the show. But yknow, this is a Disney product, so the allegory can only go so far. By the end, the show sort of forgets its political and racial throughline and favors the more "what will this mean for the MCU" ending. I will say though, the top billed actors like Samuel L Jackson, Emilia Clarke, and especially Olivia Coleman all killed it. What the writing lacked, the actors made up for.
