Annabelle: Creation

Annabelle Creation (prequel of Annabelle) working on a bigger budget definitely improved on some aspects from the previous movie like the set pieces , the story and how it ties smoothly to the first movie. Unfortunately it forgets to be scary and that's it's biggest flaw. As the story unfolds, we get glimpses of horror and it creates expectations for the climax of the movie as these scares build up to the conclusion of the movie. In the end, you feel like you've tasted your favourite ice cream flavour but you don't get to eat the whole ice cream even if you were promised that you'd eat it.
