i read a review of this one somewhere that said the relationship between parent and child is "wired for heartbreak – a primal attachment headed for an inevitable double grief." in a same way i had anticipated this movie upsetting me, but it did so in a way i can't really articulate after the fact. brb gonna go hug my dad rq...
