Superman

so so so nice to see/feel james gunn's hand in a superhero movie again. i love him and his music and his heart and his humor oh my god this was just such a good time and such a wonderful and beautiful take on superman. david corenswet needs to be in more things and nicholas hoult's lex luthor is just so so good and so so satisfying. there is a weight and heaviness that james gunn delicately plays with; a very real and very raw weight, i think the scene with mali in the pocket dimension demonstrates that very well.
