Superman

after so many "he's just like me fr" movies, we finally have a "i want to be him fr" movie actual review: i'm a little late, but damn was it worth it. this might be up there as one of the best superhero movies ever made. i've never been much a DC guy, i always found marvel to me a more interesting world with it's more human approach on characters but this and the batman have shown that DC has what it takes to really make an outstanding superhero movie that breaks the tropes and fatigue of the genre that came around because of marvel. there's almost nothing in this movie i can complain about, genuinely it's outstanding. james gunn's ability to make you not only care about superman, side characters, and even lex luthor is a testament to how good gunn is at what he does. usually for movies with lower scores i write lengthy reviews but with something like this where i genuinely think it is 5 stars all i can say is... watch it.
