Deus (Devs) inspired me to explore a bit of quantum mechanics and its history (with the 12th grade quantum physics knowledge) like the which-path problem related to the double-slit experiment, decoherence, Everett's interpretation, Copenhagen interpretation, pilot-wave theory, Schrödinger's hypothetical cat experiment (to challenge the Copenhagen interpretation), delayed-choice quantum eraser experiment, Bell's theorem etc and Einstein's famous "God does not play dice" & "spooky action at a distance" phrases.
Even though my domain is not physics it completely blew my mind fr!
In a nutshell, the series is a feud between the two major deterministic interpretations of the "which-path" or "which-way" problem; i.e, Hugh Everett's many-worlds interpretation vs de Broglie-Bohm theory.
Copenhagen: probabilistic + single universe (wavefunction collapses)
de Broglie: deterministic + single universe (pilot wave guides particles)
Many-Worlds: deterministic + infinite universes (wavefunction never collapses)
Personally, I would prefer the many-worlds interpretation ngl
