For a 15-year-old character, Tom fits like a glove in this movie. If anything, to me, he is a perfect portrayal for a Spider-Man franchise. No shade to Tobey and Andrew (they did him justice for Spider-Man, and they were both incredibly cute and attractive for the role), but Tom just carry the role out incredibly good. On a silly note, I was in the latter movie like, "What the heck, I barely saw Zendaya on my screen," and I can't help but see her as Rue, wtf? Also, I was ovulating every time TS appeared on my screen. Girl, he is just full of testosterone; I can't help it. Speaking about the technical quality of this movie, as the years progressed from 2002 to 2017, no doubt this one did not disappoint. I can tell this movie has got a huge budget. The application of CGI here has delivered hyper-realistic scenes to the viewer, and it helped to sell the fantasy the movie is trying to show to its audience. But more fundamentally, I have to agree with the vulture; the rich don't care about us. It's just the truth that this movie shows to its viewer. And while I don't fuck with his agenda and his crap, I get where he is coming from. Somehow this movie delivered and touched on a timely issue about how the government manipulates things at the expense of the people under their governance. Although it is not the overarching theme, it's still fair that this movie tapped on this issue. But one thing that really hit me is that no matter how powerful we became, we are just human after all. One way or another we will make decisions where we need to choose only one route, and the other path needs to be set aside in order to fulfill whatever responsibility we got on the other side. And for a 15-year-old like Spider-Man, we've got to give him his flowers. He is handling decisions more maturely than most of the adults out there. And for the most part, the quotation "With great power comes great responsibility" has really come a long way and is still a solid banger of a quotation of all time.

This was cute. The police here can't do shi for real. I love Gewn down.

Andrew and Emma are both outstanding actors. However, something in this movie didn't click with me at all. The CGI effects, cinematography, editing, and technicality of it all have all been very superb in their own way, but I think the storytelling and the plot development just didn't land the way it should have. Everything feels abrupt and fast-paced. In the movie there were scenes that made me feel cringe. I finished this movie without having a parasocial relationship with its main characters, Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). Let's see what The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has in store for me.

This Spider Man movie marathon has gone wild. I finished watching the marathon at 3 A.M. And I'm having the best time of my life, but I'm going to miss seeing Tobey Maguire on my T.V. screen. This franchise has completely evolved, and all the CGI effects have improved compared to what I've seen from Spider-Man 1&2. Venom's teeth have to be fixed. He's hot and sexy, but it's the teeth that bother me—so grotesque. Poor Sandman; he just wanted her daughter to get well from sickness.
