Infernal Affairs

solid film. characters aren't as fleshed out or developed as much as i would've liked them to be (like the whole romance arc with the therapist felt pretty forced) but i still loved tony leung & andy lau's performances here. great plot twists & some banger dialogue so overall i really enjoyed this - even if the goat tony leung dies at the end. can't compare/contrast this to the departed as i haven't seen it yet, but i will say if matt damon & dicaprio aren't singing the film's main theme together as the credits roll then i don't want it. 15/52
