Just watched it for the 3e time, and im gonna make it a 9 instead of a 8, i really don’t have to explain why. Amazing film, amazing scares, amazing music, AMAZING acting. Give that girl an Oscar.

“Forrest wil you Mary me?” “Ok.” What a savage.

*This review may contain spoilers.* Finally, I watched good will hunting. Its 2026 and im 17 years old and this is my First time seeing this classic, how?!? Idk i was just waiting for the right time. I can totally see why this film is seen as a classic, it really shows you that a film with not that big of a budget can be so good, apparently the only 2 things you need for making such a classic are ben affleck and Matt Damon. The incredible writers (and actors) of this film. I Gotta say that I would’ve prob given this a 7 or a 7,5, but because of all the things this movie has done for filmmaking and for what it did for all of the actors in here (especially damon and affleck) I just Gotta bump it up a point. Btw it was such a relief to see will Finally really open up to Sean as he says the words “it’s not your fault” over and over again. Really a scene that can make a grown man cry.

This may be in my top 2 or 3 horror films off all time, Where do I even begin. The whole story is just so amazing and well made, for such a young director he really did a good job. The whole film long i was scared for my life In the best way ever. This is really something different then the stereotype horror film like “it” or “insidious” where it’s just scary cause of the predictable jumpscares. This film really brings more than just the amazing well done jumpscares. They did a really good job at making me uncomfortable, the scene that haunts me the most is the scene where Nikki is walking in a weird slomo backwards movement. I think that will be haunting me for a very long time. The cinematography was so amazing for a horror. And don’t get me STARTED on the Music, It was OUT of this WORLD, and really well placed. Its one off the things in this film that makes me love it so much. The ending is perfect in my opinion, didnt really expect it and it was haunting as sh##. This was genuinely one of the best cinema experience’s off all time for me.
