> ***Close your eyes otherwise you won’t see anything *** Like a Jodorowsky kids film with a low budget. All the sets are cool and a lot of the ideas are cool, but the film kinda goes nowhere. Like an acid fueled retelling of the story. Still great nonetheless really cool to watch play out.

> ***Groovy*** Watched this blazed outta my gourd with a friend while eating cold leftovers. I think the experience adds onto my opinion of the movie. Sure this film is just awesome shit. It’s like a Jim Hensen R rated fever dream. Camerawork is flawless and *Campbell *is mesmerizing to see on the screen, but still the experience showed me the power of cinema. I could watch a movie on a big screen with pretentious pricks and randoms or I could watch a wild ass campfest right now. I th in k I’m rambling but that’s how it goes sometimes. Great.

Genuinely so vapid. The whole film is so visually interesting and it makes me think that the Russo Brothers should have directed music videos or screen savers rather than actual movies. But the actual movie is shit. The scripts bad the actings bad for the most part and the pacings bad. It’s so Oscar baity that I kinda just stared at the screen while it took away my energy. It took everything out of me to not fall asleep and then i had to take a nap after. Wasn’t because of emotion devastation it was because of how dull this was. Great visuals in a lot of the scenes though and I do really like how they did the names of people and corporations.

> ***We thought we could just roll and tumble, live from song to song. Kiss to kiss *** Malick is probably one of my favorite directors and I feel that I can accurately make this claim now that I’ve seen more than 2 of his films. Watching this at 4 in the morning is how I assume Malick intended. The movie is so transcendent and maybe (?) Malick best looking. It’s hard to make that claim giving that his films are the best looking films any director has ever made. Closest thing to watching a Malick film for the first time is being baptized. The scene with two geese under a bridge is one of the prettiest scenes ever. Love you goat Malick.
