I can see why this film ranks amongst the best of all time. It’s astonishing – every character is unique, and the way Davis manages to win over practically everyone, with the help of the other jurors, has really fascinated me. Is the boy 100 per cent innocent? We’ll never know, but I’m confident he is.

No kidding, in my opinion, this might be the best Batman adaptation ever. It really captures the depth of the character—even the absurd aspects—and that actually works in its favor. Bruce Wayne is someone who lost his family right before his eyes when he was a child; that led him to fight crime, but also to push the people around him away. His character development is very well written. He’s someone who’s broken on the inside, even though on the outside he acts like the opposite. Dick’s (unintentional) adoption helped him change his perspective, along with Barbara and Alfred. And that shows me that Alfred has never had a single bad adaptation. Whether in animated series, comics, or live-action, he’ll always be the GOAT. The soundtrack is perfectly chosen, and the pacing is designed so you never get bored. If you have young children, don’t hesitate to let them watch this movie. That said, it might be a bit tricky for them to figure out who’s who, since there are so many characters here. Make sure they watch some other content first, if you’d like.
