Skyfall

Standard spy/action movie that's executed really well. The animated opening credits sequence was absolute cinema wow. Watched this because I wanted to have the kind of mindless fun I associate with action movies— sitting in the living room on a Saturday night and flipping through DVD stacks/cable channels/Netflix until mama picked a movie with gunfights and car chase scenes across multiple international locations. I've missed the specific, nostalgic feeling this kind of fare inspired. I had fun! Long runtime but I was entertained throughout. I miss movie nights at home.
