Sing Sing

This is actually one of the best movies I’ve ever seen ever. to preface I was a theatre kid so I’m already drawn in. Not only is this movie tugging on my heart strings because it’s making me feel all the amazing feelings of being in an ensemble and coming out of your shell and your friends becoming your family and dressing in silly costumes and learning choreography and etc , it’s also tugging on my heartstrings heavy because of Colman Domingo’s character Divine G. His ability to say so many words through just his facial expression is insane and just seeing his character practically go through hell while still being there for everyone else made me sob like a baby. also the actors playing versions of themselves is what makes the even more gut wrenching (positive), the arts matter , family matters , rehabilitation matters!
