Stalker
The movie that proved to my roommate a film does not need epic action sequences to tell a compelling story. I appreciated Tarkovsky's long shots and his dedication to his craft. I recommend watching Cinema Tyler's video titled: "The Sci-Fi Masterpiece that Killed its Director," it definitely helped me to appreciate the work more.
The way human nature is explored in this film is absolutely phenomenal. The moment Porcupine's suicide is explained is hands down one of the best scenes I've ever seen.
Cannot wait to dive into Solaris.
