Sicario

This man Denis Villeneuve does not miss. Another banger. Opening scene = fire. Closing scene will have you holding your breath until the credits roll.  Not a perfect 5 as the rising action is a little confusing but if you watch the movie I think that’s the point as to reflect what our main character is feeling during that point as even she is not fully knowledgeable on what’s going on. The only thing j would add to this movie is just a little more character development for everyone but again the secrecy of the characters feels intentional as we’re dealing with an unethical CIA mission. The only problem with that is that it’s hard to feel the stakes as you’re not particularly in love with any character. Other than that though- so good.  Overall absolute banger though.
