I’m not into the anxiety of this movie. The only person I was really rooting for was Idina Menzel. My face hurts after because I so stressed the whole time. Respect to everyone who rated it highly

Okay I get it. Incredible that an indie film with such a small budget made it to such a huge stage and so well deserving. Not sure if I’d vote it movie of the year BUT it’s 100% worthy of every nomination and all the attention it got. The ending was brutal and I’m so curious to hear how it’s been dissected and analyzed.

Definitely long and some could argue, anti climactic. I wasn’t obsessed and in awe during, but I realized afterwards that my attention was totally held for the full length of the movie which is impressive considering how slow it is and how short my attention span is. The beautiful / boundary pushing music of that time definitely played a huge role in this.

This movie kinda stabs you in the heart, you know?
