Landscapers

This is one of my favourite miniseries I’ve seen all year! It never lets you settle, every character seems like you should side with them & that shouldn’t work but somehow it just does. The script seems to be what makes that work, mixing comedy with the heavy storyline catches me from the get go! Stylistically it’s very impressive too - the ode to old Hollywood is stunning, captivating and is a brilliantly surreal way to explain such a surreal story! This could have easily been your run of the mill show with its rich story but it never takes the easy way out! This is British TV at its best!
