the way the ending made my stomach DROP. i was actually gasping for air. i hate briony when she was an adult, not a child. she saw ppl doing the deed 2 TIMES and one was SA (at 13 yo), she was a child but what robbie said to her during the "last meeting" was completely right. she ruined the lives of the 2 ppl she deeply cared about. (And also lola bcus she would've never married her rapist if briony said the truth) i have to say the writer did a FANTASTIC job, i genuinely thought this was based on a real story!! and if it did my life would never be the same again. Also James McAvoy... OH LORD
