best Tom Holland Spider Man film and not even close. Holland is great, so is all the cast. The sadder he is, the better the film is and the more human he is the better the film is. Definitely still has flaws, think it was predictable at times, certain characters could've been utilised more and the ending is good but annoying, obviously it's done to leave you excited and 'questioning' but i wanted more, still a good moment obviously. One of the best parts was them capturing who he really is, what he means for the people which I think lacked in his previous Holland films. It is much better than the Watts films. I think Destin Daniel Cretton has set it up well enough to be handed the keys again. This will definitely be up there with the Raimi films I think, I need to rewatch them next. much closer to a 4.5 than an 3.5

think this is better than homecoming but it's still quite a mess. still fun however

lots of good lots of bad, shame the bad outweighs the good. writing is really poor, the design isn't the greatest it feels really bland a lot of the time. It's really funny to watch this back because there's a lot of pauses where in the cinema people would be clapping or cheering, but watching by myself without an audience isn't the best. think it heavily relies on the nostalgia, which obviously works well. Willem Dafoe is incredible, never appreciated how good he was in this, and Garfield, forgot about him originally
