Such a good watch. It was so easy to be upset with Joan, but at the end of it all, I feel like I would have done the exact same thing. Recognizing later that she was only her happiest with Luke because they never had the opportunity to really experience trials in their relationship was just so great and very well written. The movie did a great job at showing us that they eventually wouldn’t work out with stiff dialogue and physical attraction but not really emotional/romantic. I really wish they would have made her a little more self aware, but at the end of the day I do think she had a very really reaction to this outlandish scenario
