Knives Out
From what some may consider a stale genre, this film provides a fresh and innovative twist on a murder mystery. So much was built into the story that I genuinely could not guess what was going to happen next. Every creative choice from the writers payed off in the end. My eyes did not roll once, cannot recommend this film enough.
Some other highlights:
- Fantastic music
- Just enough symbolism
- Twists and turns but with purpose (and subtle prerequisites!)
- Innovative story telling choices that defies expectations
