Wanted to watch this to get a good scare but I would say this is more of an uncomfortable film rather than horror which isn’t really my thing. Definitely disturbed me but more in the sense that I was disgusted rather than terrified. I think it’s safe to say that, with the exception of Midsommar, I do not find anything religious or paranormal actually that scary and prefer psychological thrillers. I still want to know about that solo witch in the woods, was she part of the circle, I couldn’t really tell. The weirdest part of this film was seeing saggy ass which was really not on my bucket list

I feel like I’ve just been in a fever dream, will report back once I’ve watched an analysis as I feel like I’m missing a lot. I will say Blue Velvet is now stuck in my head

Nobody captures cities like Mann does and I will die on this hill. The mix of action, beautiful cinematography and fitting soundtrack all add up together to make a perfect film (for me). Those last 10 minutes are some of the most intense minutes of my life that I felt like I was the one being chased down. Each shot of this film could be framed and put in a museum and I would look at every one of them! The whole vibe of this just makes me want to drop everything and move to the city. Mann is truly one of my favourite directors; Thief is next on my list.
