This is like Saw but instead of the traps making you see the value of life, it makes you see the value of paying attention to maths in school Also that scene in the silent room was so tense, I was so scared I hope that Kazam got his gumdrops

okay, I am genuinely surprised I haven’t seen this. I thought I had but after watching it, there’s so much which was new to me so I think I’ve only seen clips. First off, this is a clear 5 star just based on the fact it’s stop motion, such a brilliant form of animation which I am a big fan of. It’s done so incredibly well and you can tell there is so much effort put into every frame. It’s crazy to think that every single piece of this film was hand made. Incredible, it’s art. I love the character design, it’s so well done especially for the other mother and father. I felt so bad for the other father, the poor dude seemed to actually care for Coraline and he got turned into a pumpkin. I also really loved how Wybie was built even tho his neck has got to hurt. The visuals in this film were fantastic, genuinely cannot get over them. Such a pretty film, really pleasing. The soundtrack was fantastic, especially that little motif which played, even though I hadn’t seen the film, I instantly recognised it. The voice acting was great, I cannot see anyone else being the voice of the cat other than Keith David, he is literally in everything. The whole film was genuinely fantastic, you can tell how much care went into it. The story was great too, it’s not like it’s just a visually pleasing film or that it’s great because of how it’s made. It’s just great all round. The film was also so much creepier than I ever would’ve expected. I watched a lot of the film like this “😦”. It’s such an interesting concept and done so well, I haven’t seen it yet but it reminds me of Jordan Peeles film ‘Us’ I may be completely wrong but from what I know of that film, it seems similar. Henry Selick clearly knows what he is doing. That opening was also really freaky. The whole film was just unnerving at times. I loved Wybie and felt so bad for other Wybie. I also lowkey cried when Coraline got into bed and made her parents out of pillows. That scene was so sad bro. :( Man this film was genuinely great. I could just sit and yap about it, especially about the stop motion, like I’ve done stop motion before and it’s HARD. The other mother was also so creepy but lowkey fine.. 😛 Amazing film, Chloe told me I HAD to watch it as it’s her birthday so happy birthday Chloe, this is my present. Man genuinely so good.

maybe I just don’t get it but this wasn’t as good as I’ve always heard about. The song and dance was good and I enjoyed that part but everything in between each song and dance was kinda bad. The whole film is so inconsistent and the actors are like 40 year olds trying to be high schoolers. The film is also weirdly horny, like I swear one of the songs was about blue balls. The whole high school is full of perverts. The way they talk about girls is weird, like Zuko only liked that girl when she changed COMPLETELY, that is not a good message to end on. The car also flies into the distance.. This may come across as me being devoid of fun and whimsy (which is not true) as I may be taking the film too seriously. I just expected more and got so much less. It’s just weird honestly. Song and dance was fun. I also only watched this cuz I went and saw one of my friends in a performance of it in an actual theatre. That was way better, it may have just been the atmosphere of being in a theatre but the actors were actually highschool age and it was less horny cuz they were actually highschool age. Frenchy was by far the best character, I actually liked her. Favourite song was beauty school dropout Overall somewhat enjoyable when they were singing and dancing but other than that void of any semblance. I also don’t like John Travoltas face.

I really enjoyed this. I’m too tired for long review. The dynamics between both duos were great. I really enjoyed how they interacted and I got teared up Alberto died, the Rangers reaction was so sad. This film was very pretty, I really liked the cinematography and the music was great. Really added to the atmosphere so well. I loved the relationship between the brothers too. It was quite sad when he died :( The story was also great, pretty simple but very interesting. This is a short review but I really enjoyed this film, it was so good and very interesting. I am just too tired to think. “I love you toby, I mean it”
