Who lost the dialogue track and replaced it with their "70's vibes" mixtape?

Every single person is so dialed in. Poignant, devastating, yet endlessly hilarious, this is what a great movie looks like. Seth Rogen doing his best Vince Vaughn impersonation, Olivia Wild proving her worth as a director. I love the costume and set design of it too. The way that their clothes make them fade into the background, melting into the walls. The apartment almost becomes a silent character, a manifestation of the issues that plague this marriage. Truly amazing work.

I really love professional recordings of stage shows. While it doesnt replace the need for live theatre, it does allow people who may not have the means to otherwise see it the chance. Plus, this is just a really great show. The tragic tale of Orpheus and Euridyce is one of the greatest stories in Greek mythology. Setting it in a time of coal mining, steel, railroad workers, and jazz creates a parallel between the tragedies of ancient Greece, and the ones we know today. A story of love, sacrifice, and costly mistakes set to the tune of unionization. And it really stands out when a story's ending is known by all, but still becomes a shock when it happens. Im so glad I got to finally see this show in any form. It was worth the wait.

Call it giallo if you want. I am just calling it fucking confusing.
