~”Youre being manipulated”~Absolutely positively fucking brillant. Its gotta take some nads to be the first director to take on Covid, and he fucking nails it. You literally get into a time machine for 2.5 hours and everything feels so fresh like it happened last week. Being back to normality you forget how absolutely psychotic this time in history was. Taking on covid, antifa, blm and all civil right problems in one. This is extremely masterful. Not to mention a fucked up Ari Aster twinge to it. Visceral Piano notes and plenty of horror-esque qualities. Joaquin Phoenix is absolutely fucking marvelous, I know he wont get an oscar for this because theres noooo way the academy will warrant that with this type of movie. But as of right now, they should be hurled at him. Insane preformance from start to finish, as per usual with him. Without watching Beau Is Afraid, this is asters best. Tackled this troubled and confusing time in our recent history with pure precision and absolutely hits the nail on the head. Fucking amazing. Very very very predictable. It was a fun watch and there were some redeeming qualities and a lot of homage to old films. Even old jackie chan films. But this was just meh, kid moves to new city, theres a tough guy that gives him a hard time he wins in the end. Yay. Ralph Maccio really doesnt age tho

Absolutely very well done. My expectations were a little low for this partly because I thought the trailer sucked. It looked like the acting and effects were bad and I was ready for a flop. But this was really good. I had a blast watching this and thought it did what it needed to do. I like it when they dont take shit too seriously. Comedic relief throughout the movie and some genuine laughs throughout. I thought Corensweet played a great superman aswell. I actually liked the effects too to be honest very comic boom style and a whole lot of fun. I also thought Nicholas Hoult was fantastic as Lex Luthor and it was refreshing to see a villain actually be evil. I was very happliy suprised as this is a better superhero movie I have seen in recent memory. Bravo DC
