Blonde
Ight now that I watched this I’m convinced the bad reviews are from liars that didn’t actually watch this. Andrew Dominik once again proves he is incapable of missing, with this being his most technically ambitious and most emotional art/film yet. Ana de Armas is just fantastic here, she brings so much emotional depth to this movie, and certainly provides the most respectful portrayal of Marilyn Monroe ever seen. The cinematography and editing were top notch, with new camera and editing tricks constantly being experimented with. The constant aspect ratio changes and swaps from black/white to color were so well done and tied in perfectly with the story. Just a perfect movie all around, zero complaints from me. The haters are going to be pissed when art appreciators like me get access to this beautiful film on Netflix.
