Definitely style over substance but I can’t get enough of that Michael Mann style. There’s something about that cheap digital look capturing the Miami horizon that perfectly hit the spot for me. The final gunfight is one of the most gruesome ever featured in a movie, and the handheld camera lens getting splattered with blood makes it far more engaging to watch. The story was definitely an afterthought, but when the vibes are captured so perfectly it’s easy for me to also not care about the story. Beautiful film
