Heat

I can definitely see how the dark knight was influenced by this movie from the opening scene. This is the best heist movie but it’s weird to say that because I think the non heists parts of this movie is what makes it so good. Especially Al Pacino's and Robert De Niro characters are just so good. The acting between them was amazing but the way the two characters portrays the irreconcilable differences we have within us the counterpoint of what we are and what we want to be. Outside of them I don’t think there’s a full character or performance in this movie. The score is always pretty calm even when things are happening and I love the use of silence in the movie. There are scenes that use silence to  powerful illustrate each characters silent conflict within themselves. Also the style in this movie is just so perfect to the movie the combination of the movie unique colors and shots and realism of the heist scene in this movie is brilliant and makes it’s truly unique. It all made this movies 3 hour runtime go by like that. Why did they have infinite ammo during the bank heist shootout I don’t remember them reloading one time😂. But that’s such a small issue to this film and overall i think this movie was amazing and very influential  “I’m alone, I'm not lonely”
