Mr. Scorsese

I just ran completely through these 5 episodes and wish there was 20 more, it is unreal. Across hours of reflection, it traces his life and career chronologically, tying every film to the obsessions, doubts, and moral reckonings that define him. His reflection has not softened with age; if anything, it is sharper than ever. Layered with friends, collaborators, and fellow filmmakers, it is exhausting, exhilarating, and endlessly engrossing. For anyone obsessed with his work, it is unmissable. Certainly classified as a docu or miniseries but this will easily be one of the best things I watch in 2025.
