the real def of two pairs of shoes that r exchanged. film ini jujur deep bgt, dua orang yang sama sama kesepian karena pasangan mereka selingkuh, tp justru dari luka itu bikin mereka terikat secara emosional. mreka bisa saling paham krena merasa punya kesamaan satu sama lain. mrekaa deket tp mreka nahan untuk ga slingkuh, krena mreka gamau kayak pasangan mreka,,, itu sih poin yg plg deep

the first chapter, the concrete masterpiece is definitely my favorite . cz i love moses's art even though it was abstract, i could still catch a glimpse of what he was actually drawing and those paintings are truly impressive for me. this is my first ever wes anderson’s movie n i really love his style (the color grading, how they change the color and the shot was amazing<3)

this movie is visually stunning, i really love how every shot and scene is framed, it just completely mesmerizes me. so i think this movie is about elio figuring himself out, he likes oliver but at the same time he’s also dating marzia, and honestly i feel like him being all sweet w marzia at the middle of the movie kinda happens because oliver leaves him to work w his dad and that makes him feel lonely and need someone by his side, which makes me feel really bad for her. elio is such a soft and genuine character, it actually hurts seeing him cry, like his emotions really come through the screen, especially with the soundtrack that goes crazy good...... one of the reasons why i like a movie is bcz of the touching quotes in it. and imo cmbyn has quotes that really gets me especially at elio and his dad scene. his dad is right, our bodies and our hearts are given to us only once, so we should felt our sorrow and our pain that we have bcs if we kill the sadness, we also kill our ability to feel joy.

"i want you to eat me. i want you to feed. it's the easiest thing, just love me and eat me, bones and all" that last scene broke me fr… lee really loved her :( he wanted her to eat him cz i remember at the start she said she was hungry.. imo, i don’t think it's just about cannibalism, it's a metaphor for accepting someone's darkest flaws. it shows that love means giving everything to your soulmate, literally your whole life and soul. lee is forever and always with her no matter what gonna happened, cz she ate him, he’s on her blood, her body, her breath :(
