Silence

This was peak. Definitely a story that’s pretty important to today and to history. To make it even better, it’s starring three A-list actors. And to make it even better, it’s directed by one of the best directors of our time — Martin Scorsese. Why isn’t this talked about more? Maybe because it’s a religious movie. But it isn’t really preachy. The cinematography and blocking were perfect. And the colour grading was the cherry on top. The way the film progresses makes almost everything up to your interpretation. The symbolism works the same way. I didn’t even realize I was being hand-fed exposition when it was happening. The way the camera moves is amazing. It felt longer than it was, but I feel like it was intended to be that way — and it deserves the extra length. That’s my Spider-Man.
