Superman
“The Gunn never jams.”
The amount of comic accuracy was incredible.
I’m so glad I got to experience this — not just on the big screen, but also on release day.
I haven’t seen Christopher Reeve’s Superman, but I have seen Henry Cavill’s — and this was way better.
The only complaint I have is that a lot was packed into the end. But they still took their time with it — they didn’t rush it. Definitely one of the better third acts I’ve seen in superhero films.
I loved how it was filmed — the wide-angle lens gave it such a distinct feel.
The action and humour were perfectly balanced.
The cameos were fun, and the possibilities for sequels are endless. The foreshadowing of future characters was cleverly done.
There was one scene that almost felt like a car commercial — but it wasn’t. Speaking of ads, the product placement was actually really smart.
