(9/31) Takes me a while to figure what i wanna say about films like this. Im glad i finally saw it, really is as good as people say it is. The battle scenes are the best Ive seen from Kurosawa, some of the best i've seen in films overall. They feel very chaotic and kinda unscripted which is good for depicting the reality of war i suppose. I could say loads of other shit about the use of color and cinematography etc but its already been said thousands of times before so im not gonna bother
