Spirited Away

I’ve randomly decided to watch this film at half midnight on a sunday night leading into monday morning. I really appreciate the 2D hand drawn animation, it really reminds me of how badly Pixar has fallen off in recent years with their story telling through CGI animation. there’s just an essence of this film and the world, characters - everything, that’s just makes it so special and unique. I didn’t know whether to watch it with subtitles or dubbed, but the dubbing seems to be really good for this. I’m not usually an anime sort of person, but this might just be the turning point for me.
