Beau Is Afraid

Genuinely, and I mean this with my full heart, **fuck anyone who doesn't like this. ** This was my most anticipated film of the year by far. I was literally counting down the days. Didn't see it in theaters because my city is a shit hole and our one theater would rather play the paw patrol movie. Regardless, I would've watched it much sooner on VOD had I not heard so many negative reviews on it. Now that I've seen it, I can confidently say that those people are tripping balls. This was genuinely everything I wanted from it and more. I want my review to go in deeper, but I feel like I need a rewatch to fully do that. There is too much in this movie to dissect and fully understand on a first watch. I will certainly be rewatching soon. 97/100
